The secret of the quality of our wines lies, in large part, on the ability that we found to the right varieties to be worked in this region with weather conditions so special. The Serra de Monfurado and Atlantic Ocean influence the night temperature and, consequently, the terroir of Montemor-o-Novo (amplitudes up to 25º C). Considering there are mostly granitic soils, in addition to areas of SCHIST METAMORPHIC not, as well as soils of gneisses or related rocks and diorite. They are rarely found or coluviões alluvial soils. The vineyards are in heavy soils, slightly inclined to the South.
